We set a small number of essential cookies so the site works. We don't set any analytics or advertising cookies until you tell us we can — if you chose "Essential only" on the banner, nothing in the second and third tables below is running.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to function; others help the owner understand how the site is used or measure advertising. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels, tags — do comparable jobs, and we treat them the same way here.
These are always on. Without them the site can't remember basic things like the choice you made about cookies. We don't need consent for these, but you can still block them in your browser — parts of the site may then behave oddly.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand roughly how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found us. It tells us that a page is popular; it doesn't tell us who you are.

We advertise on Google Search. These cookies let us see whether an advert actually led to an enquiry, so we're not spending money blindly. They can also be used by Google to show you our ads elsewhere.
